Anna-Marie Baldwin, NSN, RN, IBCLC (she/her)
Northern New Mexico Chapter Co-Chair
Anna-Marie Baldwin (she/her) is a Registered Nurse and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) with over 13 years of experience supporting families through every stage of the prenatal and postpartum journey. She began her nursing career in labor and delivery, where she discovered her deep passion for breastfeeding support and maternal-infant health.
Throughout her career, Anna-Marie has worked in a wide range of settings, including hospitals, clinics, home visits, and schools—providing compassionate, culturally sensitive care to diverse communities. She has played a key role in Baby-Friendly designation efforts and has been actively involved in community-based breastfeeding initiatives, advocacy, and education.
As Co-Chair of the Northern New Mexico Chapter of the New Mexico Breastfeeding Taskforce, Anna-Marie is committed to promoting equity, empowering families, and normalizing breast/chestfeeding across the region. She brings a strong belief in collaboration and community partnership to this role and is honored to continue serving families and supporting fellow professionals through this important work.
Ren Cason, CLC, Full Spectrum Doula (she/her)
Northern New Mexico Chapter Co-Chair
Ren Cason (Whiptail Doula) is a queer, full-spectrum doula and Certified Lactation Counselor based in Santa Fe, New Mexico. She is currently a nursing student at Santa Fe Community College and the University of New Mexico, with a strong interest in reproductive and perinatal care. She’s passionate about making lactation support more inclusive, accessible, and grounded in community care.
