Kellogg, this statewide summit offers education and networking opportunities for health care providers, hospital/clinic administrators, and quality improvement leaders at all levels of experience. You'll leave with evidence-based best practices and innovative solutions you can implement immediately.

Summit Goals

  1. Identify strategies to conquer barriers and challenges experienced by hospitals in their efforts to support breastfeeding
  2. Explore interventions for addressing racial and ethnic disparities in breastfeeding initiation and duration rates
  3. Understand evidence-based guidelines to support breastfeeding

Continuing Education

The Office of Continuing Medical Education designates this live activity for a maximum of 6 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. The University of New Mexico School of Medicine, Office of Continuing Medical Education is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians. Summit attendees will receive a link for the Summit evaluation on Friday November 16, 2018. Attendees will need to complete the evaluation in order to receive their CE certificate.
